KLP®–S Beam
KLP — on land and in water, a high-performance alternative

The KLP®–S beams are manufactured from a recycled plastic material and reinforced with steel.

KLP®–S is 100% maintenance free, durable with a lifespan of more than 40 years and does not rot, but the biggest advantage of this innovative product is its increased stiffness. With the KLP®–S material we can reach a free span of up to 5 metres. Other than KLP® being an environmentally friendly product: there will be no leaching from the product into the water!

The material can be treated as wood, in that it can be screwed, drilled and sawn. Other plastic components can be easily screwed in KLP®–S, as the steel is only situated in the corners of the beam. Also steel enforced fenders are easily fixed, from our experience even easier than wood.

Our steel enforced products lead to enormous cost-savings due to the fact that less poles are required for the supports (large free span). This in turn will lead to saving in the cost of material and labour for the installation. The products are maintenance free, which will lead to long term savings.

Our products use the prefix 'eco' for two reasons: first, all products can be recycled after use and, second, using KLP–based products is ecologically sound because no oil–based finishes are required.
Ecobollards — a range of designs provide a sturdy, vandal proof alternative to concrete and iron bollards. They don't degrade and maintain their appearance with little or no maintenance, making them a cost effective solution for local authorities
  Ecopole and Ecoplanks — maintenance free poles and planks for fencing, water immersion features, street furniture and barriers  
   
  Ecodeck — a non–slip decking suitable for platforms, footbridges, leisure decking, street furniture and marinas with the same benefits as other products in the range.  
  Ecosheet — tough, easy to clean and maintenance free, Ecosheet is used in a number of diverse applications such as signage, agriculture and playground equipment, to name just a few.  
  KLP®–S Beam — steelinforced beams leading to enormous cost-savings due to the fact that less poles are required  
  KLP®–ecotape and ecotile — for durable protection of cables and ducts, ecotile and ecotape can be supplied in roll form or as individual heavy duty cable cover tiles
